In 1960, we succeeded in the industrialization of electro fused magnesia oxide for the first time in Japan.
Since then, by gaining expertise in our original electro fusing operations, high temperature burning and techniques for controlling fine particles, we have continued to provide a steady supply the electro fused magnesium oxide which is a high quality and high purity.
We call the magnesium oxide that obtained by burning of the magnesium hydroxide at high temperature “the heavy burned magnesium oxide”.
Its crystal grain is large, and its stability is excellent.
Our electro fused magnesium oxide is produced with crushing the big crystal growing up by electro fusing method.
So the electro fused magnesium oxide is more excellent than the heavy burned magnesium oxide in chemical stability, moisture resistance and the electric insulation.
The electro fused magnesium oxide is used for insulating fillers and refractories.

This is a standard grade in the electro fused magnesium oxide.
This grade is comparatively small particle size in the electro fused magnesium oxide.

Electro fused magnesium oxide for electrical heaters

Feature

The electro fused magnesium oxide is used for insulating filler of tubular heating element.
To produce the tubular heating element, the coiled electric wire is inserted into the metal tube and the electro fused magnesium oxide powder is filled into the inside gap. The tubular heating element is widely used for such applications as household application (electrical rice cooker, iron, hotplate, etc) and industrial equipment (molding machine, hot sealer, etc).
The electro fused magnesium oxide powder plays a role to insulate the electric current running through the wire and conduct only the thermal energy to the tube effectively. Our subsidiary, Tateho Chemical Dalian Co.,Ltd produces such electro fused magnesium oxide grades, using the electro fused raw material made in China.
