Origin of Our Name
Scarlet knotweed flowers bloom in autumn everywhere around Ako Castle. We took our company name “Tateho” (standing buds) from the knotweed flowers that set the fields ablaze with color. In fact, the name of the city, Ako (red buds) is derived from the knotweed flowers as well.
Corporate Symbol
Our corporate symbol, which represents the Identity of the Tateho Group in visual form, is displayed in ultramarine, a color of the ocean. Wave-like curves stand for the ocean, and their gentle arc indicates harmony with the present age, society and nature.
In contrast, the square shape framing the curves represent single crystal magnesia, our flagship product, and our outstanding capacity for technological development. The whole mark expresses what Tateho is, a company whose technologies are born from the bountiful ocean.
50th Anniversary
Tateho Chemical celebrates 50 years of business
In 2016, we celebrated our 50 year anniversary, held a ceremony of planting a cherry tree.
This tree should represent the growth of our business in the next 50 years.
We would like to thank all our customers, employees and partners for their trust and support.
We would not be celebrating this anniversary without them.
