Acknowledging the importance of privacy protection in our society, we take it as our social responsibility to comply with the laws, regulations and social norms related to protection of personal information. Therefore, we have established the following privacy policy and hereby declare that we will carry out and maintain it.

1. Collection of Personal Information

The Company will use fair and proper means to acquire personal information, clearly specifying the purpose of use of such information in advance.

2. Use of Personal Information

The Company will use personal information only within the scope of the purpose of its use. Further, when we outsource the handling of personal information to a third party contractor, we will do so only after conducting a prior investigation of such contractor and executing an agreement that is necessary for proper management and supervision of such contractor, and will take the measures necessary for compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company will never provide a third party with any of your personal information unless we obtain your prior consent or unless such provision is permitted under applicable laws or governmental regulations.

We take the necessary security measures to prevent loss, destruction, modification, and leakage of personal information. We appoint a personal information protection manager and implement appropriate management of personal information, providing all our executive officers and employees with training in the protection and appropriate management methods of personal information. We thereby realize thorough implementation of appropriate treatment of personal information in our businesses.

We will comply with laws, national guidelines, and other norms on the protection of personal information.

1. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

We will use acquired personal information for the following purposes in our business activities.

We will never provide your personal information we have acquired to any third party except under the following circumstances:

4. Security control measures

We will take measures to securely manage personal information based on the information security standards at the time in order to prevent leakage, loss, damage, falsification, unauthorized access, etc.

When using personal information in a foreign country, We take the necessary and appropriate measures for the safe management of personal data based on an understanding of said foreign country's legal systems for the protection of personal information.

Individuals have the right, in accordance with the privacy laws of each country, to their personal information.

5. Procedures for disclosure and correction of personal information

If you or your representative request us to disclose, notify the purpose of use, correct, add, delete, stop using, erase, or stop providing to a third party (hereinafter collectively referred to as "disclosure, etc.") your personal information, we will respond to your request in accordance with the following procedures. * “Company-retained personal data” means personal data which is retained by the Company for a period longer than six months and which the Company is authorized to disclose, correct, supplement, delete, cease using, eliminate, or cease providing to a third party.

* When you take a procedure for one of the above requests, you are required to submit the above documents to the Company. Please blot out sensitive information such as the locality of your registered domicile which is described in the documents before you send the documents to the Company.

(3) Fees

Among the requests listed in (2) above, please be informed that for requests for disclosure and for notification of the purpose of use, you are requested to pay the fee of 2,200 yen (consumption tax included) per request.

Basic policy on the proper handling of Individual Numbers (My Number) and specific personal information

1. Compliance with related laws, guidelines, etc.

We will handle Individual Numbers (My Number) and specific personal information (hereinafter, “Specific Personal Information, etc.”) in compliance with the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (hereinafter, “the Numbers Act”), the Guidelines for the Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information (for Business Operators), the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter, “the Personal Information Protection Act”) and the guidelines established by each ministry and government office.

2. Purpose of use

We will use the Specific Personal Information, etc. we have received for the following purposes:

(1)Specific Personal Information, etc. of our business partners

  • Preparation of payment records relating to real estate transactions; and
  • Preparation of payment records relating to remuneration, fees, contract money and rewards.

(2)Specific Personal Information, etc. of our employees, etc., and their spouses and family members

3. Matters relating to security control measures

We have established and will comply with our “Rules on the handling of Individual Numbers (My Number) and specific personal information” for the proper management of Specific Personal Information, etc., including prevention of leakage, loss or damage.

4. Handling of entrustment

We may entrust the handling of Specific Personal Information, etc. to a third party. In this case, we will provide the necessary and appropriate supervision of the contractor in accordance with the Numbers Act and the Personal Information Protection Act.

5. Continuous improvement

We will endeavor to continuously improve our handling of Specific Personal Information, etc.

6. Disclosure of Specific Personal Information, etc.

We will respond to any request made by an individual or their agent to disclose the Specific Personal Information, etc. of the individual without delay except under the following circumstances:

  • Doing so may harm the life, body, property or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party;
  • Doing so may significantly hinder the proper execution of our business; or
  • Doing so would violate laws.
